Тему всю не читал, но вот интересный постик от одного из самых известных в мире маньяков весоманьяков
Ну наконецто я обзавелся нормальной вилкой Купил РШ Сид Рэйс 
Поставил касету ХТ, убрал маленькую звездочку, выкинул флайвейт и намутил легкие экцентрики.

looser, у всех нормальных людей давно бэмы весят меньше 12 кг...
Поездив не много на этом байке, могу сказать что Ультимейты работают получше ХТ - это точно! с ХТР не было возможности сравнить, но есть человек который перешел с ХТР на Ультимейты и очень доволен, тормозят - просто выключатель. Опятть же все зависит от колодок и т.д. Отличаются от СЛ тем, что они совсем другие Другая конструкция, ультимейты на промах, тяжелее и тормозят на много лучше СЛ-ек...
Сид -вилка для вибрейков, хотя есть индивидумы которые умудряются ездить на них на дисках, у спортсменов они летят одна за одной под дисками...

with KCNC you also get aluminium cantistuds which save even more precious grams over other v-brakes. the naked brakearms weigh just 48g/pair. that's by far the lightest available on the market!
naked Steinbach brakearms weigh 10g more (58g per pair...so 20g more for the set) and are so flexy that they actually don't perform!

and click at the Martha tuning! you are a lucky man if you get a working disc at under 600g.....with the KCNC V-brake we are looking at ca. 250g for the complete brakeset with levers, brakearms and cables at MUCH, MUCH lower price as well. if you now also take a closer look at the wheels there is still no lighter than v-brake wheels. the sum of brakes and wheels is definitely 1 full pound lighter with V-Brakes !!!!!!
